TFmini-i LiDAR Module is an industrial-grade medium-range distance sensor based on the Time-of-Flight (ToF) principle, with a maximum detection range of 12 meters and an adjustable frame rate from 1 to 1000Hz. It features a durable PC/ABS/PMMA housing with IP65 waterproof and dustproof protection, supports a wide 7–30V input voltage, and includes reverse-voltage protection for circuit safety.
The TFmini-i uses an RS485 communication interface with the Modbus standard protocol, and offers multiple operation modes for flexible configuration. It can work with Arduino UNO R3 via a TTL-to-485 converter or connect to Raspberry Pi using a USB-to-485 module, making integration simple and versatile.
With its high stability, strong protection, and adaptable communication, the TFmini-i is ideal for vehicle anti-collision systems, pedestrian detection, UAV take-off and landing assistance, industrial distance measurement, and altimeter applications.
